ABOUT

ReThink Waste is a forum on municipal waste management and circular solutions.
It is a new specialized platform, born from the long-standing experience of Lviv Eco Forum, designed to explore one of today’s most pressing issues — the transition from waste to resources.

The forum is open for discussions, sharing best practices, technologies, and circular economy models that are transforming municipal waste management in cities.

In 2025, as the country lays the foundations for new environmental policies and municipal governance, we bring together key stakeholders: representatives of central and legislative authorities, communities, businesses, international funds and banks, experts, and innovators.
Together, we are rethinking the role of waste in Ukraine’s recovery.

Ukraine is shaping a modern waste management policy — communities, businesses, and the government face the task of moving towards concrete actions and sustainable solutions.

Local communities are actively seeking systemic solutions: from modernizing and building new landfills, launching sorting lines, and constructing waste processing plants, to implementing transparent and economically sound tariffs..

Investors and donors are ready to cooperate — but they expect clear strategies and actionable roadmaps.

Post-war recovery is impossible without environmental transformation.
